You better watch out, Hallmark. You think you have the corner on holiday programming with your saccharine holiday movies about love? Netflix used a couple billions of dollars in development to close the gap on Christmas cheer this year, and will premiere dozens of wintery specials for all the boys and girls on Santa’s nice list.

Fans of the Christmas Prince series will be glad to know that A Royal Baby is on the way this winter. And there are a few other exciting original movies being delivered as well, like Holiday Rush, a movie about a DJ who has to teach his kids the true reason for the season when his finances get tight, and Let It Snow, an adaptation of the YA book of the same name about some high school students who get stranded by a snowstorm.

Meanwhile, Netflix’s series are also going to be decking the halls with new holiday-themed specials for The Great British Baking Show and Nailed It!, along with the introduction of a Christmas-themed sitcom called Merry Happy Whatever. It’s still not quite as ambitious as the most festive competitors in the holiday market, but this is quite a shiny package all the same.

During a detour through Zambia, she helps her pilot, Derek Holliston (Rob Lowe), rescue an orphaned baby elephant. They nurse him back to health at a local elephant sanctuary, and Kate extends her stay through Christmastime. Far from the modern luxuries of home, Kate thrives amidst majestic animals and scenery. Come Christmas morning, nothing will be the same. Based on the best-selling book by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle, <em>Let It Snow</em> stars Isabela Merced, Shameik Moore, Odeya Rush, Liv Hewson, Mitchell Hope, Kiernan Shipka, Jacob Batalon, and Joan Cusack.</p> <p><strong><em>The Great British Baking Show: Holidays</em> Season 2: </strong>Twinkling eyes? White beard?
